Life should be taken with a pinch of salt, a slice of lemon and a bottle of tequila

December 26, 2006

As I was typing this, I looked back at my old journal.
In 2001, I spent Christmas with my best friend Sheila, with our other mates. We went to Beach Club. Back then I was young and naïve, drinking was a secondary. I cannot dance seductively, and have no intentions of even picking up guys.

2002, I went to Genting Highlands with my ex bf. To me, it was romamntic, as it was my first time getting away from the city with my ‘boyfriend’. I strategized for one week, on "How-To-Lie-To-Your-Mom". Everything went great, until today, mom still thinks i went with 5 other girlfriends.

In 2003, I celebrated Christmas in Melbourne, and I was with my ex too. (Yes, it was the same ex) Christmas in Melbourne was one of the best Christmas ever. And I had the best gift anyone could ever give me. But he wasn’t the right man for me.

In 2004, I’m back in Malaysia and hating it, and as I picked up drinking custom in Australia, I partied all night long in Bar Flam. Called Brent for 76mins, drunk, and phone bill cost me a bomb!

Last year, I had a quiet one, with some friends in Nisa’s place. We had steamboat, wine, dvd. The height of the night was I actually followed Henny to Catholic Church for mass!!

Looking back, I am truly blessed to have friends around me. I am loved and pampered. I have lost ‘some’ old friends but at the same time, I gained many new friends. My best friends stayed with me, and together we grew.
