After attending Zhang Zhen Hong’s album launch party, we headed to another party. Nisa’s birthday party. It was good to see some old friends (friends i’ve abandoned for salsa ) They’ve been complaining that i went MIA.

As usual, the party is filled with ALCOHOL! But for once, i’m not attracted to it. I know i have to stay sober for salsa later. But thanks to Henny & Alvin for making such yummy Mojito…i couldnt stop drinking. Been awhile since i had Mojito, i forgot how yummilious it taste.

The whole night…i never left my cup without being filled up with Mojito. I realised it’s time to stop when i start talking crap, laugh like a hyena and i couldn’t even stand properly. It’s not good! I picture myself *sweeping* the dance floor in Divan!

I decided not to go to Divan, but i can feel my feet itch. I slapped myself awake…NO MORE MOJITO!!

To those who would love to try this drink, it’s easy peasy.

An easy mojito recipe to liven up your evening:

1.5 oz BACARDI Rum
12 fresh spearmint leaves
1/2 lime
7 oz club soda
2 tbsp. simple syrup
(or 4 tsp. sugar)

It is a slow, dawdling Sunday afternoon. Feel like I needed a break from a long exhausting week. It hasn’t been a pleasurable one, as I was too caught up with work. And my body pleaded for a good rest.

Aside from work, I can say that life is a joy.

I attended Zhang Zhen Hong’s album launch in Halo Café, Sunway Pyramid yesterday. Many would have ask, who is Zhang Zhen Hong? I would say, he is a great guy, with the greatest enthusiasm and passion in life. I have yet to meet someone so determined in realizing one’s dream.

I got to know Zhang Zhen Hong through my salsa guru, Jeamie. Believe it or not Zhang Zhen Hong is Jeamie’s guru. So, this makes him my Great Grand Guru (3 G’s).

When I first know him, I have no doubt about his dancing skills, abilities, proficiency; after all he is my si qong. What was so unbelievable was to know that he’s a lawyer. And added to my “shockingness” he can even sing! And he’s releasing a new album!

As promised. On the 24th, Zhang Zhen Hong launched his album. For those of you who are unaware, an EP is essentially "half" a music album because a typical album consists of around ten songs. It has taken me three years to produce this "half" album of five songs. it has been a long and challenging process for Zhang Zhen Hong.

It was a wonderful event. Press, fans and friends all got together to support him. He performed 2 songs, but we hungered for more. Zhang Zhen Hong totally serenades us! After all, who could have resisted such talented singer with good looks? Absolutely a *package*.

Zhang Zhen Hong , a lawyer who has a decent day job, he went through years of waiting, disappointments and diaphragm torturing just to produce an EP. He is now living his dreams of coming out with his own music. Now his dream is realized and soon, you’d be listening to his music over the radio.

WARNING TO ALL MEN!

Beer contains female hormones :

Last month, National University of Lesotho scientists released the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer.

Men should take a concerned look at their beer consumption. The theory is that beer contains female hormones (hops contain phytoestrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men develop female characteristics.

To test the theory, 100 men drank 8 pints of beer each within a 1 hour period. It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects:

1) Argued over nothing.

2) Refused to apologize when obviously wrong.

3) Gained weight.

4) Talked excessively without making sense.

5) Became overly emotional.

6) Couldn’t drive.

7) Failed to think rationally

8) Had to sit down while urinating.

No further testing was considered necessary.
