Let’s celebrate the third blog day on August 31.

What is BlogDay?

BlogDay was created with the belief that bloggers should have one day dedicated to getting to know other bloggers from other countries and areas of interest. It would be easy to think, no matter where one is or who one is seen to be, that … ‘this is it’. Some would even be convinced that they’re too old or too young, too poor or too rich, the wrong colour, shape, type, in the wrong place at the wrong time, too short or too tall, too stupid or too smart, too right or too wrong… what ever it is, sometimes we’ve allowed ourselves to be convinced that it’s over. “This is as good as it gets”. Some how we just reach the point where the “fed up-ed-ness” happens, and we feel we just don’t – can’t reach the mark; the expectations we and we feel others, place upon us. Well….

Really, I don’t know. I don’t know why we think we need to live our lives to please others, but that doesn’t make it ‘not real’, does it?

Being part of THE STAR Group, I was told that Star takes AdBAll very seriously. Every year there will be a group performances competition based on the theme. When i was told that this year’s theme is Masquerade, I was very excited.

The first masqurade party I last attended was last year, MMN 2nd Year Anniversary.

I was already planning what to wear for the party. Should i get a new dress? What colour? But wait………

June says that, we dont need to get any costume coz STAR already got it all plan for us. Guess what? The STAR will be putting up a play - The Lion King, and we have to synchronized with their theme, therefore our theme would be AFRICAN. How interesting.

We were really looking forward to wearing the costume!!

The STAR really put alot of effort into this.

Our costume finally arrived, after 3 hours of waiting. Trust me, i have no idea that we are going to wear ‘that’- I mean the poncho. To me, it was just a piece of cloth with a hole in the middle and wooalaaa…a pancho! I was very dissapointed! It is a Masquerade party, I am not supposed to look like…

Overall, i think The STAR team did an excellent job creating those costume. Did i mentioned that all those costumes were hand made. Pretty impressive. Even though i wasn’t happy with mine, it was a great night with lotsa great laughter and jokes. We even figure out what to do with the poncho after this…It’s good for table cloth, or shopping bag, or even a blanket!!

Ok, you guys would know how sleepy i was-just looking at the picture (below). Therefore, I was in need for good food to keep me alive awake thoughout the night (I have salsa class at 11pm!) Had dinner at Cafe 1920, The Curve. They claimed to be the first authentic Italian café-restaurant in Malaysia. It was satisfying!! Price is resonable, definitely value for money.

I woke up on a beautiful Saturday morning thinking about picnicking with the Ti-Ratana kids in Gasing Hill. I was happy happy happy, cause i have not gone out with a bunch of kids for picnic. And the weather was awesome.

Later that i know…we are not not going for picnic! We are actually climbing Gasing Hill! I was conned! And Neeraj is responsible for that. He specifically told me that it was a picnic, i wasn’t prepare for a climb…i wasn’t wearing the right shoes, the right pants, the right blause..everything wasn’t right…and i didnt have anything to tied up my hair!

But anyways, I did went for a short climb…for someone who doesn’t excercise, it was indeed an accomplishment..come one, tell me that you’re proud of me
