ADBall 2007
Being part of THE STAR Group, I was told that Star takes AdBAll very seriously. Every year there will be a group performances competition based on the theme. When i was told that this year’s theme is Masquerade, I was very excited.
The first masqurade party I last attended was last year, MMN 2nd Year Anniversary.
I was already planning what to wear for the party. Should i get a new dress? What colour? But wait………
June says that, we dont need to get any costume coz STAR already got it all plan for us. Guess what? The STAR will be putting up a play - The Lion King, and we have to synchronized with their theme, therefore our theme would be AFRICAN. How interesting.
We were really looking forward to wearing the costume!!
The STAR really put alot of effort into this.

Our costume finally arrived, after 3 hours of waiting. Trust me, i have no idea that we are going to wear ‘that’- I mean the poncho. To me, it was just a piece of cloth with a hole in the middle and wooalaaa…a pancho! I was very dissapointed! It is a Masquerade party, I am not supposed to look like…

Overall, i think The STAR team did an excellent job creating those costume. Did i mentioned that all those costumes were hand made. Pretty impressive. Even though i wasn’t happy with mine, it was a great night with lotsa great laughter and jokes. We even figure out what to do with the poncho after this…It’s good for table cloth, or shopping bag, or even a blanket!!

it is poncho la. not pancho.but u look g8 in one. y not change ur whole wardrobe to poncho. for 1 thing that r sure, ur fren will not notice if u have just return frm ipoh.u know what i mean.

the last annual dinner my company had was the 70s. i had a ‘bombardstic’ hairstyle with my big bell bottomed with a big sunglass…. best thing, majority of colleagues didnt know it was me even tho i stood at the door to welcome them as they attend the dinner
