Thanks to RED FM, i managed to catch Kenny G live in Genting, 26- Apr 2008. Kenny G, is an American saxophonist whose fourth album, Duotones, brought him "breakthrough success" in 1986. Kenny’s main instrument is the soprano saxophone, but he also plays the alto and tenor saxophone and the flute on occasion.

In 1997, Kenny G earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for playing the longest note ever recorded on a saxophone. Kenny G held an E-flat for forty five minutes and 12 seconds

Kenny is also a pilot, and has been known to fly to many events.

How many of you have not heard about Malaysian Dreamgirl? If you haven’t, it’s not too late to check it out at www.malaysiandreamgirl.tv or listen to REDfm 104.9fm

My first encounter the Malaysian Dreamgirls contestants was in Penang, early March. They made a special appearance during Star Edu Fair, as REDfm is the official radio station, I got to see the girls before they got into the Dream House!

I was told that there were 12 of them, but on that day, only 11 showed up. Apparently one has decided to pull out from this show. So there were 11. I didn’t have the chance to get to know them, but they look pretty nice. And did I mention I look extremely fat and short standing next to them?  

Anyways, I was delighted to know that they called Ringo (Cheesie) back to the House! As her blog reader, I’m kinda biased la, she is of coz my favorite! And what’s more exciting is that I got to see her in person when the Top 8 came to my office for a lil’ task! Young and bubbly, sweet and nice, smart and down to earth -  just one of the many many traits she has! We got really comfortable chatting with each other coz she is just so easy to talk to. Of coz we cam-whored

OK, I need to get out off the office. I cant think. My brain is stalled, my stomach is full, my butt is feeling FLAT and painful.

I’m off to a launch in Berjaya Times Square. Wish me luck- coz I’m in charge of it :-p

2008 Here I Come……..

Few days back I was at Genting. Now I’m sitting in my room, suffering from allergies..well, I shall not talk about it…

Anyways, back to  Genting. It was a pleasant trip and I was very happy about it. I was surrounded by many beautiful people, in a beautiful place to celebrate Christmas.
Christmas always remind me on how time flies, Now is the time in my life where I get to do a lot of reflections. It’s not the easiest thing to do.

I came across this question, not along ago. The question remains however, am I just showing different facets of myself, or is there no unity to the self?
Is there one true self, who you really are?  I would say no.  Do you have a soul? I would say yes. 

He asked. How can these ideas coexist?

To me, there is no one true self, there is no way that you will be, that you ought to be in the sense that if you don’t become that person you have betrayed your true nature.  While I do think it is possible that you may not have lived up to some kind of potential that exists in each of us, there is no preset amount of “greatness” that you could have accomplished.  Instead you have a soul, a part of the universe that is uniquely you, but what that soul is to become is up to you.  It is constructed by you and co-constructed by your environment, your peers….rite?

Original glazed Krispy Kreme’s are like drugs for me. If I eat one, I could never stop. I’m not myself anymore. I’ll have to sell my car - all for the love of Krispy Kreme. Okay, maybe this is a slight exageration. But maybe not.
